Cleaned up Idle Air Control Valve 2006/04/02
I replaced the cleaned up spare Idle Air Control Valve to my dirty Idle Air Control Valve for fixing the rough idle of my Volkswagen Corrado, and removed a noise damper at the same time.

This is my original Idle Air Control Valve w/ noise damper. I wasn't cleaning this for a long time. Probably, this will be the cause of the rough idling.

But, the only OBD-I VR6 has this IAC and noise damper.

Its my cleaned up spare Idle Air Control Valve. I polished it. : D
I change the direction of its installation to remove a noise damper.
There is a noise damper to remove the louder sound of IAC or TB?. A form is included inside this black plastic box.
However, After removing it, the sound didn't change. How it work?

The slide valve of removed IAC was very dirty. I removed dirt using the part cleaner.
Removed the noise damper and Installed the Idle Air Contorol Valve.

My VR6 recovered good idling.

I should reset ECU because it's turn of the season.
