I received the e-mail that Norbert in Sweden sent a gift to me. Later by 2 weeks which the e-mail reached, I received the Smork and red clear taillight of the FK Automotive. Is he a multimillionaire? :D

Why the Japanese character is there?
He bought it from the Germany.

or Made in China?

The bulb socket is different to an OEM bulb socket.

This taillights kit is not direct bolt ons kit

I don't like cut a original wiring....

Fitting a OEM bulb holder to the kit.

But, a little bit different.

For now, I postponed this work.
Almost, I mask to peel off the plating of a taillight body.
The upper and lower clearance is just a 3 mm.

It is the very difficult work that peels it off. I used small flat head screw driver to that work.

I used the #320 sand paper to peel off the plating.

To peel off the plating of a part in the right was easy. however, the left side parts is....
Why is the thickness of the plating different?
The quality control is too bad. ::angry::

I paint with the spray paint of the matt black
After painting.

Black is more cool.
Next, I modefied the OEM bulb holder.

I reduced the plastics of the part which was shown with the red arrow.

I shaved the bulb holder by the grinder.

and next....
I made the four lock clip's holes to lock the bulb holder.

The OEM blub housing fitted excellently.
Install.

Remove the rear hatch inner cover and three 8mm nuts of the taillight(reverse and rear fog).

The nut in the lower right has a round plastic cover.
Removed

Too dirty.
Inside of the hatch is muddy with the preservation wax.Clean the inside before installation.
Remove three 8mm screws of the taillight(brake and taillight)

The taillight in the right is obvious with the Volkswagen.
Left side is ..... BMW? LOL
They don't line up.

It is necessary to pretty adjust them.
I shaved the reflector.
There is a hit mark of the reflector.
I made around the hit mark of the rear hatch become hollow with the hammer.

I adjust the lineup by this way and insert some washers to the body and taillight.
Lineuped the brake and the reverse light.
Install is done.
Night time.

It is flashing very much. Looks good!
I replaced the amber blinker blub to the silver vision bulb of the Philips.
The blinker color chaged to the silver color.

The silver blinker is looks good than an amber color.

I seldom modified an exterior. but, this time.... It's very cool modification. My ragged Corrado can be seen like the new car. :D Thank you sooooooo much Norbert!
